Celebrating the Winners of the Bibliotheca Alexandrina International Award 2025

The Bibliotheca Alexandrina (BA) is pleased to announce a landmark seminar featuring the recipients of the first edition of the Bibliotheca Alexandrina International Award. This year’s award was dedicated to Green Technology Applications, and the award was held under the gracious patronage of His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Arab Republic of Egypt.

The seminar will showcase the groundbreaking work of our two distinguished winners:

• Prof. Hassan Abdallah: Recognized for his transformative work in developing smart, sustainable cities, low-carbon transport solutions, and the establishment of sustainable university frameworks.
• Mr. Glenn Banaguas: Honored for his efforts in harnessing science to serve marginalized communities affected by climate change and his pioneering research in sustainable aviation fuel.

تتشرف مكتبة الإسكندرية بالإعلان عن تنظيم ندوة تستضيف الفائزين بالنسخة الأولى من "جائزة مكتبة الإسكندرية الدولية".

وقد خُصصت الجائزة هذا العام لتطبيقات "التكنولوجيا الخضراء"، والجائزة تحت الرعاية الكريمة لفخامة الرئيس عبد الفتاح السيسي، رئيس جمهورية مصر العربية.
