Alexandria — the BA Alexandria and Mediterranean Research Center will organize on 17-18 September a conference entitled “Visions for Alexandria: The Case Study of a Mediterranean City”. The conference presents a comprehensive vision on the future of Alexandria and its position on the international tourist map. The participants will discuss several themes, namely:
Alexandria in the New Millennium
A Vision for the Future of a Historical City
Presentation of Aquarium
Presentation of Underwater Museum
Dr. Hany Helal, Minister of High Education, General Adel Labib, Governor of Alexandria, and Dr. Ismail Serageldin, Director of the Library of Alexandria will participate in the conference. The opening session will start at 11:00 hrs at the West Hall, BA Conference Center.
