Alexandria— Dr. Serageldin gave the keynote speech on Wednesday, 8 November 2006 at Latsis Foundation, Bellevue, entitled “The Information, Knowledge, and Wisdom”.
The speech discussed the information and technology revolution in our age, focusing on the importance of quality rather than quantity with regards to knowledge and culture. Scientific values and identity are far more important than the amount or quantity of information.
