Inscriptions on Coptic Monasteries

The BA Calligraphy Center launches its new cultural seasons with a lecture on Monday, 18 February 2013 entitled “Inscriptions on Coptic Monasteries” given by Dr. Youhanna Nessim Youssef of the Centre for Early Christian Studies, Australian Catholic University; and Dr. Atef Naguib, Director of the Aswan Museum.
The Lecture tackles the writings and inscriptions on the walls of ancient Coptic monasteries and churches which contributed to our understanding of the era.
The Lecture starts at 11:00 am at the BA Main Library Auditorium, and is open for public.
