The Minister of Culture Visits the BA Pavilion at the Opening of the Cairo International Book Fair 2025

Prof. Ahmed Zayed, Director of the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, welcomed Dr. Ahmed Heno, the Minister of Culture, at the BA pavilion during the official opening ceremony of the 56th Cairo International Book Fair, in the presence of Dr. Mohamed Soliman, BA Acting Deputy Director; Ms. Radwa Al-Amir, Acting Head of the Financial and Administrative Sector; journalist Alaa Abdel Hady, BA Media Advisor; Ms. Marwa Adel, Director of the Publishing Department; and Mr. Bahaa Sobhi, Supervisor of the BA pavilion at the Book Fair.

During the visit, Dr. Ahmed Zayed browsed the latest and most significant BA publications as part of the Library's participation in this year’s Cairo Book Fair. Dr. Ahmed Heno expressed his admiration for the rich diversity of the BA publications, praising their role in enriching the cultural life in Egypt and the Arab world.

It is worth mentioning that the BA is taking part in this year’s Cairo International Book Fair with two pavilions: a sales pavilion in Hall 1, Stand B5, and a display pavilion in Hall 3, Stand B11. The pavilions feature more than 500 titles of the Library’s latest and most notable publications, which are characterized by a rich diversity across various fields of science and human knowledge.
