Dr. Ahmed Zayed in a Seminar at Alexandria Sporting Club: The World is Experiencing Frightening Conditions and We Must Focus on the New Generation

Dr. Ahmed Zayed, Director of the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, stressed that the situation worldwide is frightening and the impact has become rapid, strong, and deep, and has made its follow-up and study extremely difficult. He said that it is necessary to focus on the new generation to preserve the Egyptian identity and culture.
This came during "The Role of Culture in Human Building" seminar that was organized yesterday by Alexandria Sporting Club, in the presence of the Chairman of the Board of Directors and club members.
Dr. Zayed stated that culture is the basis for the formation of societies, pointing out that it is a general saying that is not limited to a certain category, and that it distinguishes man from other creatures.
The seminar was moderated by Mr. Ahmed Hassan, Chairman of the Board of Directors, and Ms. Rania El-Gendy, Chairperson of the Club’s Cultural Committee.
At the end of the seminar, Mr. Ahmed Hassan presented Dr. Zayed with the Club's shield.
