Dr. Ahmed Zayed, Director of the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, welcomed children from 57357 Hospital on their visit to the Library at his invitation, believing in social responsibility and the role of culture and education in supporting children's mental health, and wishing to harness the Library's treasures of knowledge and heritage and interactive display tools to serve these noble humanitarian goals.
The children took a guided tour to learn about the Library, which included visits to the Antiquities Museum and the Museum of the Late President Mohamed Anwar El-Sadat, in addition to attending the Culturama show.
Dr. Zayed announced that the Library will hold interactive cultural and heritage events and activities for the children of 57357 Hospital, with the aim of bringing joy and happiness to their hearts, enriching their imagination, and introducing them to their country's heritage in creative and enjoyable ways through the Center for Documentation of Cultural and Natural Heritage in the Smart Village.
He added that this cooperation will effectively contribute to providing psychological and moral support to children during their treatment journey.
At the end of the visit, Dr. Zayed presented the children with souvenirs.
