Bibliotheca Alexandrina closes its reading halls for maintenance

Alexandria, 17 February 2005—During the period from 25-28 February 2005, the Bibliotheca Alexandrina will not be able to receive patrons in the main reading hall and the reading areas in the specialized libraries due to maintenance. Meanwhile, museums, exhibitions and the planetarium will be open to receive visitors.
BA will re-open to receive readers and researchers on 2 March 2005.
