Lecture: Global Warming

Alexandria —  A series of informative lectures on topical issues concerning education, environmental awareness, and population growth is being organized by Bibliotheca Alexandrina"s (BA) Centre for Special Studies and Programs (CSSP) as a part of  the Youth for Sustainable Development and Better Understanding Program.  Accordingly, the BA holds a lecture on the phenomenon of global warming on Tuesday, 3 October. Dr. Salah Soliman, a Professor of Pesticide Chemistry and Toxicology at Alexandria University of Agriculture, will define the phenomenon, its causes, and its perverse impact on the environment. Moreover, the different theories on the after-effects of global warming on the weather will be discussed.
The lecture starts at 2 pm at the Conference Hall (B) in the BA.
Attendance is free-of-charge.
