On the Issues and Problems of Scientific Research in the Arab World

Alexandria—The Library of Alexandria in cooperation with the Arab Fund for Economic and Social Development, organized a conference "On the Issues and Problems of Scientific Research in the Arab World", from 14-15 November 2006.
The conference, which was inaugurated yesterday, Tuesday, 14 November 2006, brought together a distinguished group of Arab and non-Arab scientists working in the centers of excellence in scientific research at both the Arab and international levels, to discuss problems of scientific research in the Arab World.
