The After-Dinner Joke in a Play Reading

The Reference Services Unit is holding its monthly play reading in English on Wednesday, 14 September 2011. Participants will read The After-Dinner Joke by Caryl Churchill.
Unfolding through a sequence of short, episodic scenes and utilizing a large number of characters, the drama explores the politics of charity through the story of a young woman who wants "to-do-good".
The session starts at 13:00 hrs. at the BA Arts and Multimedia Library. Participants should register their names at the General Information Desk at the Library entrance.
