The BA Coptic Studies Program holds its first cultural season in Alexandria, a series of public lecture by specialists and prominent university professors tackling different fields of Coptic studies such as architecture, art, history, and antiquities. Lectures start on Monday, 8 April 2013.

This Cultural Season aims to spread public awareness about this largely unknown era of Egyptian history, and stress the fact that Coptic heritage is, by and large, a heritage of all Egyptians.
