The BA Organizes GIS Conference 2021

The Bibliotheca Alexandrina, in cooperation with ESRI Northeast Africa, organizes the Geographical Information Systems (GIS) Conference for the seventh consecutive year, under the title “GIS to Serve the Sustainable Development Goals – Egypt Vision 2030” on Tuesday, 14 December 2021, at 10:30 am, in the BACC Great Hall.
The Conference tackles the technologies, tools, and multiple domains of the geographical information systems, through a panel discussion and presentations that feature a number of experts and specialists in this field in Egypt. The Conference is preceded by online GIS workshops, which aim at training students on the latest technologies this particular field has reached.
Additionally, the Conference will be accompanied by an exhibition showcasing the maps that applied the geographical information systems, and will include a prize-giving ceremony to honor the winners of the “Digital Maps” drawing competition, which targeted students and those with an interest in geographical information systems.
