Dr. Ahmed Zayed Presents the 2025 BA Young Creators Award

The Bibliotheca Alexandrina Conference Center hosted a grand ceremony to present the first Young Creators Award. Dr. Ahmed Zayed, Director of the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, honored the winners, who are young writers and artists aged 18 to 45, in the presence of a select group of leading intellectuals and academics. The event embodies the Library's support for promising talent and its encouragement of artistic, literary, and technical creativity in Egypt.
In his opening speech, Dr. Ahmed Zayed stressed that the award stems from a positive vision for young people, based on an understanding of their aspirations and goals in light of current circumstances and changes. He stated that Egyptian youth are the true source of creativity that represents a soft demographic force whose tremendous energy must be invested in shaping the future.
Dr. Zayed highlighted the role of all Library sectors in the success of this initiative, led by Dr. Mohamed Soliman, Deputy Director of the Library. He also revealed the Library's future ambition to launch the “Bibliotheca Alexandrina International Prize” and the “Arab Thinkers Prize” in the near future.
The award comes within the framework of the Library's support for promising talents and the encouragement of artistic and literary creativity in Egypt.
