Donation from Zayed Center for Heritage and History

Alexandria, 19 December 2005— The Bibliotheca Alexandrina has recently received a donation from the Zayed Center for Heritage and History, presented by Dr. Hassan. Al-Naboodah, Director of the Center.
The donation comprises of the center’s latest publications in different fields, and books regarding Emarati heritage, history of Arab documentation, the study of mu’alaqat, (pre-Islamic poetry) as well as a look at the role played by date palms in culture and heritage.
