Sixth Science Festivity “Natural Sciences: Earth and Sun”

The BA Planetarium Science Center (PSC) organizes the sixth Science Festivity on 28 and 29 March 2012 with the overarching theme of this year’s festivity is “Natural Sciences: Earth and Sun”.
The event will raise public awareness on the importance of saving our limited natural resources and preserving the environment to achieve economic growth. The Science Festivity 2012 will highlight the importance of the sun in our daily life; both as a source of energy and a part of the Solar System, and its impact on agriculture, water cycle, animals, human body, and astronomy.
The event will also explore the nature of earth through various aspects, including agriculture, industry, environment, construction, and geology through hands-on-activities , documentaries and performances.
Science Festivity is an annual event that offer people of all ages and backgrounds the opportunity to ask questions, discuss, and explore. In the process, visitors experience the pleasure of lifelong learning, whether with family, friends, or on their own.
The Annual Science Festivity targets the public, in general, and children in particular, and is open to the public for free.
